Brian Bristol

I started in my parents’ plumbing company, Overmiller Inc., in 1988. At which time I was in construction for 3 years laying new sewer laterals, mains and septic. I was also on a project in the Orinda hills as the first company in North America to do Pipe bursting, IT WAS a big job for CCCSD. I then went into training in service and became a technician doing all drain cleaning and plumbing in a van for 11 years. In 2002 I became a Forman. My job was managing guy’s, bidding, customer service, managing capitol projects, complaints and etc. In 2010 my brothers and I became owners running the company on a day to day basis and expanding, which brought me to run the South Bay. In 2018 we sold to Corporate that held me to a no compete for five years. In 2023 It was put on my heart to start Flowing Water Plumbing and Drain. I really enjoy customer service and missed it a lot. I spent years with coworkers, management companies, municipalities, commercial properties, apartments and still to this day love solving problems. From a very young age, I always felt your problem was my problem when I showed up on a job. I owe the Lord and my parents a big thanks for the values they taught me. We have never been in plumbing to see how much money we can get from a customer, it’s always been affordable, great customer service and repeat business.

Michael Martinez

I started off working as a driver and shop boy for a commercial plumbing company in 2005 when I was 22 yrs old. When I started I had no idea about the construction side of plumbing until I got the chance to deliver material to different jobsites as a driver, instantly I knew this was the field I wanted to pursue. I worked as a driver for 7 yrs. until I finally became an apprentice working in the field. I was an apprentice for 5 yrs learning about plumbing a building from the ground up. In 2018 I became a foreman running various projects until I decided to start this company with my partners Brian and Markelle. I enjoy the challenges and solving those challenges for our customers.

Markelle Rodriguez

I have been happily married for 12 years to my husband, Adrian, who works with me as a Plumber. We are the parents of our three beautiful children. 

My grandparents owned a very successful plumbing company in the Bay Area for over 40 years. This allowed me to grow up around the plumbing industry. Riding in my dad’s pick-up truck, climbing on the backhoes and sowing up to job sites with my Dad. Some of the fun memories were handing out hundreds of calendars to businesses all over Contra Costa County. In 2015, I went to work for my family’s business in the call center. Slowly working my way into management. I grew to love everything about this industry even more during this time. The joy I got out of being able to change someone’s day around when a plumbing emergency was fixed is awarding. When we started this business, we knew we would continue my grandparents’ legacy and bring honest plumbers back to the bay area.
